Great Britain is making a bold statement in West Hollywood with an eye-catching new tourism initiative, highlighted by an enormous billboard on The Sunset Strip. The unveiling of the promotional display saw West Hollywood Mayor Chelsea Byers alongside British Consul General Paul Rennie, who posed for photos in front of the striking ad. Stretching along Sunset Boulevard from Hilldale Avenue to Hammond Street, the billboard occupies the same block that recently hosted the iconic Saturday Night Live 50th Anniversary billboard.

The impressive, block-long billboard highlights several iconic British landmarks, such as renowned London streets, a historic castle, scenic rolling hills, and other familiar sights. Among the striking visuals are a gay couple, a woman soaring on a Harry Potter broomstick, and a life-sized red telephone booth—a classic symbol of the UK. Originally introduced in 1921 and designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, the red booth has become a beloved photo opportunity, though it neither opens nor contains a functional phone.
