Travelers across Asia have fresh reasons to be excited as several major airlines—Turkish Airlines, AirAsia X, Vietjet, and Philippine Airlines—are introducing new routes that promise greater connectivity and more travel opportunities throughout the region. Turkish Airlines Opens Gateway Between Europe and Phnom Penh Beginning December 10, Turkish Airlines will initiate flights linking Istanbul and Phnom Penh, establishing the first consistent air connection between Europe and Cambodia’s capital. Operating three times a week with a layover in Bangkok, flights from Istanbul are scheduled for Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with return trips on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

This milestone not only simplifies travel for European visitors to Southeast Asia but also strengthens diplomatic and commercial ties between Turkey and Cambod.
