Thursday, March 20, 2025 Alstom , a global leader in sustainable mobility, is set to deliver 27 advanced Citadis trams to the Eurométropole de Strasbourg and the Compagnie des Transports Strasbourgeois (CTS), further enhancing the city’s public transportation system. Scheduled for deployment starting in 2026, these state-of-the-art vehicles will bolster CTS’s existing fleet, marking a significant milestone in the city’s commitment to green and innovative transport solutions. This additional order is a testament to the strong and growing confidence the Eurométropole de Strasbourg and CTS have in Alstom’s cutting-edge, eco-designed tram technology.
The order is part of a long-term framework agreement signed in April 2023, worth up to 250 million euros. An initial batch of 12 trams is expected to arrive in 2025, with delivery occurring progressively over time. “We are delighted with this additional order for new-generation Citadis trams.
