You really can't prepare yourself for it. I think as somebody who's been on many, many movie sets, I had zero idea what it actually took to make a film,” said the actress-turned-director who made her acting debut in the romantic comedy film “No Reservations” and also starred in the “X-Men” franchise. Starring alongside Channing Tatum, the film explores the unsettling dynamics of a small-town where secrets bubble to the surface.
“I played Slater King. He's a tech sort of billionaire kind of guy, and probably got a lot of money at a time where, you know, there were no rules. You know, when you get a lot of money at a young age, there's no playbook or rulebook that that tells you how to do it,” he said.

And so I think that's, you know, one of the strongest themes of this film is it's about a woman taking her power instead of just trying to be a savior,” she added.
