Zoe Ball's son Woody has been slammed with questions about her notable no-show on BBC Radio 2. Woody Cook, whose dad is celebrated DJ Fatboy Slim (also known as Norman Cook), recently hit up his socials to drop some tips for wannabe disc spinners. This advice blast comes while his mum Zoe, aged 53, has been off the radar from her Radio 2 gig for a hefty five weeks, leaving fans worried sick.

Zoe last rocked the airwaves back on August 8, and since then, replacements like Scott Mills and Gaby Roslin have been holding down the fort. Zoe's reportedly due back on the Zoe Ball Breakfast Show this month, but the Beeb has kept schtum about when exactly she'll return. Ever since Zoe seemingly vanished, there have been no details on why she's taken such a long break.

But 23-year-old Woody wasn't shy about hopping onto Instagram to spill the beans for other DJs on snagging record deals or blasting their beats live for their followers. Alongside his post, Woody scribbled: "Calling DJs from the bedroom to the stage. Want to record or livestream your sets? The Howler could be your answer!" A tidal wave of more than 500 likes crashed into his post, and fans weren't shy flooding his comments section, reports .

"How's your mum doing?" asked a concerned fan. Earlier this year, Zoe Ball took an extended break from her duties when she announced that her mother, Julie Peckham, had been diagnosed with cancer. Tragically, just a few weeks later, the radio and TV star revealed that her mum had passed away.

The seasoned broadcaster made a brief comeback to the Radio 2 breakfast show in early August, but after only a couple of days, she was once again replaced by Scott Mills and hasn't returned since. Listeners have voiced their worries on social media, demanding clarity about Zoe's prolonged absence. "What has happened to Zoe Ball? She's been off the Radio for 5 weeks in total - no mention of her whatsoever the last few weeks.

I hope she's ok," one listener expressed, while another simply posted: "I hope #ZoeBall is OK." Scott Mills previously addressed the mystery surrounding Zoe's absence, explaining his presence on the programme to potentially puzzled listeners. The former BBC Radio 1 presenter reassured listeners: "If you set your alarm every morning to go off at 6:30 am and normally Zoe comes on, please do not freak out.

You have not overslept. If you've just put us on , it's Scott Mills in for Zoe for the next few weeks. I'm sending you all my love Zo', as are the team.

" According to the BBC schedule, Zoe is set to return to the airwaves on September 23..
