ZOE Ball updated listeners on her Radio 2 future as she thanked fans for their support. The presenter, 53, returned to her show on September 23 after six weeks off air. Taking to Instagram, she posted: "Grand to be back today with this cracking crew [BBC Radio 2].

"Big thanks to our awesome listeners for the lovely kind messages." Zoe added: "Back tomorrow with @gylesbrandreth." It comes as she mysteriously "vanished" from her Breakfast show but upon returning to airwaves she asked: "What have I missed?" Addressing her listeners, Zoe said: "'Hello happy wanderers, I've wandered back.



" In a reassurance to worried fans, the star shared she was "happy" and continued: "Morning gorgeous people it's me Zoe the happy wanderer. "I've wandered back. How was your Brat summer? Was it marvellous? "We did that in the 90s it was called something different then.

"I hope you've been enjoying some of the gorgeous sunsets over the last few weeks. "It's a tad soggy our end this morning . Take it easy out on the road.

" During Zoe's time away, former BBC Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills had helped fill in. Sharing her gratitude to Scott, she said: "Thank you Scott Mills for looking after the show for the week - more on that later. "What have I missed? Text me! Missed ya!" Fans were thrilled about her return, as one penned on social media: "Welcome back Zoe, so lovely to hear your gorgeous voice lighting up the airwaves xxx.

" Zoe was born in Blackpool and is daughter of the children's TV presenter Johnny Ba.
