Listen to Story Actor Zeenat Aman is known for calling a spade a spade. On Tuesday, she made a long post on Instagram about a luxury brand who asked her to get 'associated' with them on social media in exchange for what she called a "ludicrously low fee". She, interestingly, also mentioned an actor who currently serves as one of the leading faces of the brand and is paid quite a hefty fee in exchange for her promotional duties.

The veteran actor never minces her words in her Instagram posts. She uses her social media platform to talk about many things from her past, the mistakes that made her vulnerable, her choices, and what being a woman means to her today. However, this time, she mentioned how she felt undervalued and disrespected by people who often send incomplete and lazily-written formal messages to her on social media.

A part of Zeenat's post read, "Last minute invitations that the organiser forgot to edit (and which are addressed to another celebrity who must have declined) are mildly insulting. Impolite emails with minimal details and brusque “share commercials” are infuriating. And shady proposals to post stories or comments without the paid partnership tag are distasteful (sic).

" She further complained about not being compensated for her "time, energy, reputation and reach" by these brands. Zeenat added that she has spent almost half a century working in the industry and has held on her own. The actor said she loves to engage with her social media followers and can't cheat them for any brand who doesn't even feel it is necessary to compensate her for her right worth.

The popular actor wrote, "I am over 70 years old, and I have held my own in this industry for over half a century. I work with what I know to be an unusual professionalism. I have a social media audience that is not only entirely organic, but so beautifully engaged.

I have immense respect for myself, and for you who follow my page (sic)." A post shared by Zeenat Aman (@thezeenataman) At one point in her post, she put her followers at work by hinting at the actor who's the face of this luxury brand. She wrote, "Such luxury brands pay an eye watering penny to their ambassadors (one of whom beautifully reprised a role I originally played), and sell even their most basic item for multiple lakhs of rupees (sic).

Any guess the brand she's talking about, or the actor she's referring to?.
