On Monday, the star offered an intimate look into her pre-event routine, detailing how she prepares for public appearances, even after spending over 50 years in the spotlight. Zeenat Aman shares her “Meditative ritual” of getting ready to transform from “Frumpy Z Aunty to The Zeenat Aman” The Calm Before the Glam In her latest Instagram post, Zeenat Aman posted a picture of herself in a white robe, seated in a hotel room, with her jewelry meticulously laid out on the bed.
Despite her decades-long career in the entertainment industry, the actress revealed that she still experiences jitters before stepping out for events. She candidly wrote, "Before every event or appearance, I try to find a moment of calm as I get ready. One would think that 50 years of public life would inoculate you against butterflies and jitters, but that simply isn't the case for me.
" A Meditative Ritual Zeenat Aman went on to describe how she has transformed her process of getting ready into a "meditative ritual" to help ease her nerves. She explained, "I have turned getting ready into a meditative ritual. A hot shower, a fluffy robe, then the careful practice of laying out my jewelry and accessories.
And finally, submitting to the skills of the hair and makeup artists. I start out as frumpy Z aunty and I emerge as The Zeenat Aman." This transformation, she noted, is a common experience for those in the fashion and entertainment industry, where appearances are integral to their work.
Captured by a Loved One The heartwarming post also revealed that the photograph was taken by her son, Zahaan Khan, who often accompanies her on her travels. She shared, "I do not travel with any entourage as such. Just Zahaan, and sometimes Cara (Zahaan's partner).
