This is a new historical high for the brand’s flagship MPV model. The company also stated that in November, Zeekr 009 sales claimed the title of the top-selling pure-electric vehicle above 400,000 yuan (55,000 USD) and top-selling MPV above 400,000 yuan (55,000 USD).
The Zeekr 009 MPV features several different trims including a 6-seat version, 7-seat version, and the 4-seat ultra-luxury Zeekr 009 Grand . The model was first launched in 2022 and recently received a facelift this summer. Ever since the 2024 Zeekr 009 was launched, sales have been trending upwards.
The official sales breakdown is as follows: The 2024 Zeekr 009 was first launched in July 2024 for Mainland China and Hong Kong . The car has since also been launched in Malaysia and more recently in Singapore . The 2024 Zeekr 009 comes with hefty dimensions of 5217/2024/1812 mm, with a wheelbase of 3205 mm.
The facelift comes with upgrades such as 30 Yamaha speakers, a LiDAR sensor, dual-chamber air suspension, and up to 778 hp. The refresh also offers up to 900 km CLTC, the longest range among existing pure-electric MPVs. The refreshed model drastically improved the Zeekr 009’s sales, as the previous 009 sold only 2,907 units in the first half of 2024 .
