The feminist author, 49, rocked a very fresh cut as she posed alongside Aussie singer Sarah McLeod. At first glance, Yumi's shaved sides could be mistaken as a new bald look against the black backdrop, but closer inspection showed her iconic pompadour remained.

The podcaster opted for a rocker look as she slipped into a strapless black dress with matching tights and sturdy boots. Donning her usual red lip, Yumi stuck out her tongue for the camera and accessorised with black frames. Meanwhile, Sarah, 51, flashed her midriff in a black cropped top and leather pants as she stepped into a pair of black loafers and cinched a chain belt around her waist.

The Superjesus guitarist slicked on a glamorous makeup look for the occasion with a smoky eye and bold red lip. Elsewhere, iconic Aussie country singer Kasey Chambers was all smiles as she arrived wearing a rugged brown coat.
