YRKKH written update: The latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Khelata Hai, scheduled to air on August 18, 2024, begins with Abhira stunned to see the Poddars presenting her with a collection of expensive rings to choose from.
She gets restless as she can not afford such luxuries. Charu asks Armaan and Abhira to choose their rings separately. Just then, Rohit Ruhi picked a ring for herself too.
Ruhi is surprised at the offer. To this, Rohit replies that he wishes to have a fresh start with her. Abhira confides in Vidya and shares that she does not have the funds to purchase from the collection of expensive rings.
She admits that Armaan is rich and has a family, but she has nothing to her name. As she worries about her status, Vidya assures her that Armaan would never let something like her financial status come in between them. Abhira tears up at the statement.
Yeh Rishta Kya Khelata Hai episode Elsewhere, Rohit asks Ruhi to choose a ring. But, Ruhi does not let this opportunity go to waste as she decides to create a misunderstanding between Armaan and Rohit. Manisha decides to select a ring for Abhira and Armaan.
She asks Armaan to go to his room. Rohit interrupts and reminds Manisha that Ruhi will also be selecting a ring. Manisha quickly replies that Abhira and Armaan’s ring will be selected first, and they can choose later.
Vidya reassures Abhira and asks her not to overthink. She says that Armaan will never boast about his money. She adds that Armaan might be financially strong, but she needs to be emotionally strong for them.
Kaveri is seen overheating this conversation. Abhira then lets go of her inhibitions and chooses a ring for Armaan. Just then, Kaveri enters and asks Abhira to change her name.
When Abhira refuses, Kaveri begins to convince her and explains her reasoning. She says that this is for both Armaan and her happiness. Kaveri adds that she will give Abhira time to think.
Before leaving, Kaveri warns Abhira to not let Armaan know about this, otherwise, he will get angry. YRKKH upcoming story Vidya consoles Abhira as she worries about Kaveri’s ultimatum. Armaan enters the room and asks Abhira to choose a ring for him.
He notices Abhira’s restlessness and asks her not to worry about the ring’s price tag. Abhira waves off his comment and lies that she is stressed because of the wedding. However, Armaan calms her down and asks her to enjoy the moment.
