LAGOS – The All Middle Belt Youth Forum (AMBYF) has commended the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Hon. Nyesom Wike, for his achievements in road construction and restoration of the Abuja masterplan. Comrade Aluh Moses Odeh, National Leader, All Middle Belt Youth Forum (AMBYF), in a statement made available to Sunday Independent on Saturday, said that under Wike’s visionary leadership, Abuja had witnessed unprecedented transformation, with numerous road projects completed and ongoing, significantly easing traffic congestion and enhancing the city’s aesthetic appeal.

It stressed that Wike’s commitment to restoring the Abuja master plan had also ensured a return to the original blueprint, preserving the city’s beauty and functionality. While applauding Wike’s unwavering dedication to infrastructural development and visionary leadership, AMBYF maintained that there is improvement in the quality of life of FCT’s residents and visitors. The AMBYF’s statement added: “We urge Hon.

Wike to continue his excellent work, and we pledge our support for his initiatives. His efforts have made Abuja a model for other cities to emulate. “This remarkable achievement in transforming Abuja to a pride Federal Capital Territory has endeared you to our hearts as we are proud to identify with you and call you one of Middle Belt Governors.

“For this reason, we equally call on the original inhabitants of Abuja to feel free to relate and co-operate with Hon. Nyesom Wike, who has demonstrated that he is part of Abuja original inhabitants by his Midas touch in every part of Abuja. “We can spot the difference between Hon.

Nyesom Wike and his predecessors. In the time past when one of those who believe they own the Middle Belt is appointed FCT Minister, all they know best was turning to land grabbers, allocating our land to themselves and their ethnic nationality. “This was the reason for the appointment of Hon.

Nyesom Wike as FCT Minister was vehemently resisted. But, we are glad President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) never listened to those enemies of progress to redeploy him. “Congratulations, Hon.

Nyesom Wike, our Governor in the Middle Belt region, on your remarkable achievements.”.
