A youth organisation that works hard to help youngsters “build brighter futures” had received a generous donation from one of Bolton’s biggest companies. Be The Change, based in Daubhill, was one of two organisations to benefit along with anti-domestic violence charity Fortalice from electricals firm AO’s fundraising efforts. More than £10,000 was raised by AO employees, headquartered at Middlebrook, of which £4,909.
86 went to Be The Change to help them continue their vital work. Be The Change founder and CEO Daniel Sukula said: “We are incredibly grateful for this generous contribution from AO and their employees.” He added: “This donation will play a crucial role in helping us continue our work, steering young people away from crime and antisocial behaviour, and providing them with the tools and support they need to thrive.
