Laura Kay revealed several must-try beauty tips for a youthful appearance. Kay has become famed for her natural-looking makeup techniques, having been in the industry for over 20 years.

“You don’t want to close up the eye, as wide eyes help your eyes become a focal point, helping you look more youthful. “Focus on enhancing the upper part of the eye to lift and brighten your appearance.” Mascara and the right shades of eyeshadow can work wonders in the process.

Most read in Hair & Beauty She recommended using “lighter, powdery” applications on the inner eyelid and blending darker shades outward. “Fake eyelashes should be avoided at all costs as they will pull down your eyelid and look too heavy on the face which will ultimately age you,” she said. “Magnetic lashes can be a lighter, more versatile alternative if you want to exaggerate your eyelashes.

“As well as this, using a light-reflecting concealer under the eyes, curling your lashes, and applying mascara can instantly brighten your eyes, making you look more youthful.” BOLD BROWS Kay advised against harshly drawn and overly thick eyebrows as they look unnatural and prematurely age you. Avoid drawing your eyebrows too closely together because it can throw off facial balance making you look narrower and older.
