A young man has suffered "potentially life-changing injuries" after a crash this afternoon, Thursday. Emergency services were sent to Ainsworth Road in Radcliffe at around 4.25pm following a crash between two cars and a motorbike.
A 21-year-old man was taken to hospital with "potentially life-changing injuries" and a 72-year-old woman was treated where the incident happened. A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "At around 4.25pm this afternoon (Thursday), we were called to reports of a road traffic collision between a vehicle and a motorbike on Ainsworth Road in Radcliffe, Bury.
"A man in his early 20s has been taken to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries. "Investigations are ongoing." The fire service and North West Ambulance Service were in attendance.
A Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Just after 4pm this afternoon (Thursday), two fire engines from Bury Central and Whitefield fire stations were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving two cars and a motorbike on Ainsworth Road, Radcliffe. "Crews arrived quickly at the scene. Firefighters worked with colleagues from North West Ambulance Service to treat a 21-year-old man and a 72-year-old woman at the scene.
"The man was taken to hospital by the North West Ambulance Service. "Firefighters used salvage sheets and a hearth kit to make the area safe. "Firefighters were in attendance for around two hours.
