Montana was visiting the Indonesian island when she bought several dishes and noticed the name 'Ms Cantik' printed on the receipt. She took a closer look and discovered the name was referring to her as one of the customers.

Montana shared her story on TikTok on June 26 to reveal the shocking moment when she found the hidden detail. 'I bet you she was expecting me to not know this word in Indonesian, but I knew it,' she said. Montana explained that staff usually ask for her name to put with their order, but they didn't on this occasion.



'I thought they must have remembered it...

wrong. She put a descriptor in Indonesian as my order name,' she said. 'What she didn't realise is it was on the receipt'.

The name is understood to have been used by staff at the restaurant to help them identify the food orders placed by each customer. Montana then asked the waiter if it was her name. @montana.

'I almost cried,' Montana said.

She showed a copy of the receipt that had been attached to the top of the brown takeaway bag. Social media users said they thought the term might have been disrespectful. 'I was thinking it was something rude, but how stupid of me to forget that Indonesians especially in Bali are the loveliest people,' one wrote.

'Why did I think it was a bad word so kind!' another said. Montana said she almost cried after she was told by the waiter the name on the receipt (pictured) was referring to her Others said they had also revealed similar messages when they visited restaurants in Bali. 'I got a receipt with ganteng [which means handsome] on it,' one person wrote.
