Donald Trump supporters are rebelling against him after the former president once again put forth a policy proposal that would award green cards to immigrants with college degrees. Trump took to Truth Social at around 3:00 A.M.

on Saturday morning to share a link celebrating a proposal he had previously put forth. The link, an opinion piece from the Washington Examiner , is titled, "Trump is right: Foreign graduates should get green cards." ALSO READ: Trump is losing his audience "Despite facing friendly fire from so-called national conservatives over a recent interview with the venture capitalists on the All-In podcast, former President Donald Trump ’s latest insistence that foreign students be compelled to stay in the country after attending an American college exemplifies the former president’s pro-growth strain of 'America First,'" the article states.

But Trump supporters were not happy about the proposal, with some even saying that he lost their vote. That includes one user, @punishedhumanbean, who has shared Trump campaign statements including that the ex-president plans to "impose tough new sentences on illegal alien criminals to MAKE AMERICA SAFE AGAIN." That user also cited Trump's recent claim that he will be great for women's "reproductive rights.

" "With doubling down on stapling green cards to diplomas and the post yesterday regarding 'reproductive rights', you have fully lost my vote. You are no longer the America-First candidate that you were in 2016 and 2020," @punishedhumanbean wrote. "I tried to get on board with 'no tax on tips' and 'drill, baby, drill' instead of 'build a wall' and 'drain the swamp.

' It was a spit in the face when you had an immigrant speak Spanish on stage and a punch in the gut when you called Miriam Adelson braver than veterans." The user added, "I hope to see changes but until then, I am now an uncommitted voter." Another self-identified MAGA fan, @JamesDesch, also took exception to the controversial immigration proposal.

"Yeah. Sure. 'Operation Paperclip' worked out Fantastic for America and Americans.

We are paying for that naïveté to this very day," the user wrote. "And now we want to double down? Not so fast!" Another user who frequently shares content from Trump and his campaign, @MajorKalhoun, said, "I disagree." "Those are still American jobs going to foreigners," the user added.

"We are failing our children every time a foreigner gets an American Education and an American Job that our kids would have if our Education System wasn’t garbage. America for Americans First." A self-identified "Patriot J6 'insurrectionist'" who has "Trump is my president" in their bio, @PatriotHH, also opposed the plan.

"I don’t think we should have foreigners in our schools to begin with. We need to focus on our own population and educating our own children to make America great. I don’t see how offering a green card to a foreign college graduate compels them to not share what they’ve obtained here, with their country of origin," the user wrote Saturday.

"The universities are corrupt and need to be cleaned out, and Americans need opportunities first. Is our country trying to in such bad shape that we need foreigners to show us how to run it? I’m pretty sure that’s part of how we got in this mess to begin with." @Jasper1, who has "Trump won!" in their bio, also chimed in: "Ummm.

.. No.

The citizenship course and exam already exists - a college level study of American history and principles of government. Few if any colleges and universities teach this," the user wrote. "Don’t give green cards to know-nothing students.

Let them apply for citizenship like everyone else." Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), whose speech at the Democratic National Convention served as a highlight of the event due to the GOP veteran's across-the-aisle endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris , on Saturday highlighted a development from the DNC that he says "will be written about for years.

" Kinzinger, who is said to be facing an "uphill battle" as he tries to change Republican minds to support Harris , took to social media over the weekend to talk about what happened. "Something happened at the DNC that will be written about for years," the ex-lawmaker said. "Donald Trump has given up traditional Republican ground, and the Democrats and Kamala snatched it up.

Trump gave up being the defense candidate by becoming weak and panicked, and embracing Russia." "Trump gave up being the proud American party.

They hate America which is obvious to all but the most loyal MAGA. Kamala showed her pride in the country AS IT IS TODAY, not pining for the 1950s," he added on X. "Trump gave up being the border hawk.

While this will take time to recognize, I believe cracks have started. Kamala reminded everyone that Trump tanked the hawkish border bill, and committed to signing it (in front of a loudly cheering crowd)." Kinzinger continued, saying, "Trump ceded the ground of opportunity and vision.

His constant whining and focus on the past. Kamala showed a forward looking vision." "Trump gave up law and order.

Not just on Jan 6, but attacking The FBI, questioning the CIA, and calling for violence," he said. "And now an awards ceremony for Jan 6 criminals. Kamala showed appreciation for police and stressed her role as a prosecutor.

" In conclusion, according to Kinzinger, "The Dems are now on their way to being the Patriotic, USA chanting, America loving party, and the Republicans look like the bitter old men who are angry that the country is vibrant and dynamic." "What a flip in record time," he said, adding, "A bad plan to keep the GOP relevant." A man who has spent a lot of time with Donald Trump explained on Saturday how he thinks Vice President Kamala Harris is getting under his skin.

Trump biographer Tim O'Brien, author of TrumpNation: The Art of Being The Donald , appeared on MSNBC over the weekend to discuss the former president and the upcoming election. Earlier in the interview, O'Brien noted that Trump could lose half of his entire net worth if he doesn't win back the presidency in November . After that portion of the interview, O'Brien was asked whether or not Harris got under Trump's skin at the Democratic National Convention.

The host played a clip of Trump insulting Harris' looks at the event. ALSO READ: Trump is losing his audience "I think she got under his famously thin skin weeks ago, the second the mantle was passed on to her from Joe Biden because of the renewed energy in the campaign, and I think the Democrats had about 140,000 volunteers come out of the woodwork in the four weeks since she was named as the Democratic flag bearer and she is getting all this enthusiasm that Trump has lost and he is deadly aware of that," O'Brien said before explaining his view on why Trump is so threatened by the current vice president. "He's also deadly aware of her celebrity power.

He isn't a student of many things but he is a student of celebrity and I think he recognizes that she brings an unusual charisma here," he said. "So, the statements he's making say more about him than her, and he has been very focused and made all sorts of comments about her beauty, about her smile, about how she speaks, and he is clearly obsessed with it and afraid of it." Donald Trump could potentially lose more than just the presidential race in November, his own biographer said Saturday. Tim O'Brien, author of TrumpNation: The Art of Being The Donald , appeared on MSNBC over the weekend to discuss what the host deemed the former president's "struggling" social media network, Truth Social. Specifically, O'Brien was asked about how much of Trump's net worth is wrapped up in the site, which has seen its stock sinking.

According to O'Brien, "probably about half of his net worth, at least" is tied up in the company. ALSO READ: Donald Trump exploits AP photo error for new $99 'Save America' book "That is all on paper, you never know with Trump. He carries a lot of debt.

But I would think at least half of his net worth is the $2.7 billion or so stake in Truth Social," O'Brien said. He went on to say that "we are in a very unusual position of having a publicly traded stock which is actually a barometer for Trump's political fortunes because the business model for Truth Social is nothing more than the cult of Donald Trump's personality and social media presence.

" "It has never really gotten off the ground as an independent business, as you noted, it has minimal revenue and loses a lot of money. The stock is down over 50 percent over the last six months. It is because his political fortunes have started to trend down and, without Trump the president at the helm of Truth Social, Truth Social as a magnetic force or a social media dialogue is basically nonexistent," he added.

He went on to say that the stock bumped up after the assassination attempt on Trump because his political fortunes looked much better leading into to Republican National Convention. However, according to the biographer, "since then all of the momentum has gone to the Democrats," causing the stock to weaken again. If Trump loses in November, according to O'Brien, "the value in it, it becomes negligible.

" "I can't say it goes to zero but it climbs even more dramatically from where it is," he added. "The prospects for this company aren't good." Watch below or click here.
