A 19th-century church is up for sale for £1,000,000. Clermont Church, located in Cumberland Road in Brighton , has been listed by estate agents Aston Vaughan for offers in excess of £1,000,000. Built between 1877 and 1888 by local architect J.

G. Gibbins, the Gothic-style church has been out of regular use since 2006. The church was part of the United Reformed Church, a Protestant denomination with roots in Presbyterianism.
