Thiruvananthapuram : The govt has appointed ADGP Yogesh Gupta as the director of the vigilance and anti-corruption bureau, filling the vacancy created by the retirement of T K Vinod Kumar on Aug 9. Gupta, a 1993-batch IPS officer, is currently the CMD of Kerala State Beverages Corporation (Bevco). Meanwhile, transport commissioner S Sreejith will be the new ADGP (headquarters) and Harshitha Attaluri will be the CMD of Bevco.

Kerala Police Housing and Construction Corporation (KPHCC) CMD C Nagaraju has been appointed as the IG (crimes). The charge of chairman of KPHCC has been given to state police chief Sheikh Darvesh Sahib, and that of managing director of the corporation to J Jayanath.
