Yellowstone cast members say they have had no contact with their former co-star Kevin Costner since he exited the popular western show. Costner announced in June he would not be appearing in the second half of the fifth season of the show and would instead be focusing on filming the movie Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 2. Yellowstone stars Ian Bohen and John Emmet Tracy told at the premiere of series 5 part B at The Museum of Modern Art in New York City on Thursday night that they have not had any contact with Costner, who played lead actor John Dutton, since his departure.

"I don't know if the others have, [but] I will say though that he's an amazing man to work with and he's a legend and I think he has contributed so much to making Yellowstone so legendary." Among those who attended the star-studded night were Luke Grimes, who plays Kevin's onscreen son Kacey Dutton and his onscreen wife Kel.
