In the show, she gets to know that she has lost her baby and she gives a heart wrenching emotional performance. It is actually Abhira who has Ruhi's baby. Rohit handed over the baby to Armaan after Abhira lost her baby as Ruhi was in coma.

In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 's today's episode, we see Abhira played by Samridhii Shukla trying to comfort Ruhi who is going through an emotional turmoil. Abhira keeps her baby on Ruhi's lap. However, the latter responds bitterly.
She asks Manish to ask Abhira to take her 'luggage' away. She calls baby 'luggage' and walks away. In the lawn, Ruhi then talks about how Abhira and her mother Akshara are the cause of all her problems.
Rohit played by Romiit Raaj and Armaan played by Rohit Purohit then have a discussion about Ruhi. Latter is feeling emotional and guilty for putting Ruhi through such a trauma. It is only Armaan and Rohit who know that it is Abhira who has lost her baby and not Ruhi.
