New Delhi: Yakuza Fiancé: Raise wa Tanin ga li is a seinen manga series, it’s plot based centered around the theme of romance and an arranged marriage, with the genre of the popular theme of Yakuza or the organized crime syndicate of Japan. Originally before earning its anime adaptation, the series started as a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Asuka Konishi. Having been serialized since 2017, the manga has set out to release its anime adaptation in the form of a television series and on online streaming platforms after achieving major success for it’s plot line and addictive story.
The anime adaptation is set to hit streaming platforms this fall on October 7th 2024. Plot Yoshino Somei would have been a normal high-schooler if not for the fact that she is the granddaughter of the leader of the Osaka-based Somei Group, the Kansai region’s largest yakuza organization. Although her family environment, given their affiliation as an organized crime syndicate, Yoshino has spent her days quietly and peacefully.
However, her peaceful life takes a twist, unknown if it is better or worse when she hears the news about the unification of Kansai and Kanto’s biggest syndicates, the Somei and the Miyama groups. This, according to the news article that she finds out, will result in the marriage of the leaders’ grandchildren—one of whom is Yoshino. Despite her best efforts to annul the arrangement, Yoshino has to go to Tokyo to visit her fiancé, Kirishima Miyama.
