WWE fans were left retching as Drew McIntyre and CM Punk delivered one of the most brutal Hell In A Cell matches in history. The two bitter rivals, whose real life animosity has spilled in front of the cameras in a feud which has been dominating shows around the world since January this year, kicked off Bad Blood in style 27 years after the very first HIAC bout. From wrenches and table legs to chairs and chains, the two veterans went all out and spilled each other’s blood all over the ring.
The term ‘crimson mask’ has never been more applicable, with Drew getting blinded as he bled into his own eyes before the referee had to intervene and wipe him clean with a towel. Blood is seldom seen at this level in WWE anymore, but viewers were treated to a violent spectacle even Art the Clown would be proud of. Not surprisingly, a lot of squeamish fans were shocked by what they were seeing, with many branding the bout one of the most brutal in history .
DESTROY. DESTROY. DESTROY.
