Wuthering Waves is a fantastic experience, and there is a lot of tiny details from Kuro that are easy to miss. Although easy to miss, all the unique details in the game help create a world that makes WuWa distinct from the competition such as Genshin. There are also a plethora of easter eggs/references to other properties, and .

The fantastic news for WuWa players is that the heavily-anticipated is now out. This is the final banner before the arrival of update 1.2, and said update should be massive provided leaks are accurate.

Some have resulted in fans lavishly praising Kuro for listening to the community, meanwhile, another leak suggests a is on the way, and it’s something Genshin Impact fans have wanted for years. We cannot wait for update 1.2 to arrive, but we still have just under a month to wait.

Fortunately, the game is already fantastic in its current state, and the Wuthering Waves community has just pointed out a cute MARVEL easter egg that is, quite frankly, excellent. On the Wuthering Waves subreddit, OP _Dreisang has shared a post titled, ‘ ‘. The post is accompanied by a gameplay clip showing Varina battling Scar.

The clip shows Scar grabbing Varina and slamming her into the ground repeatedly before tossing her to the side. However, the clip simultaneously shows the iconic MARVEL scene of Hulk smashing Loki in the first MARVEL’s Avengers movie from Joss Whedon. Surprisingly, the two animations are identical from the exact way and directions of the slamming, to even the tiny details such as the pause and facial directions.

You can check out the clip in the embedded Reddit post below: Reacting to the clip, there are many comments in awe of the reference. One comment simply says, “A pleasant discovery,” meanwhile, another says, “I said it before and I’ll say it again, this game is the gift that keeps on giving. There’s a lot to discover if you look at small things”.

While most of the comments are full of praise, there are a few criticising the similarities. One of the comments says, “Wow didn’t realize that, so cheap of the animators to copy pose for pose”. Another comment says, “Wait that is ACTUALLY copied wtf.

.. Admittedly hilarious though lol”.

To this a user replied, “It’s an Easter egg, not ‘copying'”. Most of the comments are full of praise for the reference, and it’s only a few with negative sentiments. It is not an easter egg as easter eggs in games are hidden material that needs to be uncovered by the player, and it can be regarded as a “copy” as the animation looks eerily similar.

However, although it can be regarded as a “copy”, it can also be interpreted as just a cute and loving reference. It’s neat to see, especially with the MARVEL movie scene in mind, and it’s an animation that actually adds to the boss fight with Scar.
