If you’ve spent any time playing Wuthering Waves, you’ll have run into the true end-game grind that is farming boss fights. One of these fights puts you up against Jue, a fantastic dragon who is closely associated with Jinhsi. The less fantastic thing about Jue is, as the community will tell you, how annoying the fight can be to complete.

At the moment, Wuthering Waves is in patch 1.1 and we’ve seen the addition of new 5-Star Resonators Jinshi and Changli. Looking forward, there have been a lot of leaks for the upcoming seasons, including the and a rumour the game Notably frustrated, OP MMoguu took to r/WutheringWaves to air their annoyance at the Jue boss fight, saying, “ ” The post explains: “Im not talking about difficulty here but more on how you fight him.

How the f**k am I gonna deal damage to this Flying worm if he keeps on flying and landing several meters away from me for a short amount of time? This is giving me some annoying memories fighting Rathalos in MH: World”. Answering the thread’s question, a lot of people are sharing their strategies – and frustrations – about how the fight plays out. One person commented: “His design is basically flying.

Which makes sense...

but damn that’s flipping annoying”. Another simply says, “Yeah he’s extremely annoying, haven’t fought him since the quest”. Check out the post in full below.

It seems that there are some strats you need to employ if you want to comfortably take on Jue. One person shared their knowledge of the fight, explaining: “Don’t press any directions when the fight starts and switch to a different character. It instantly teleports you to him.

I’ve had it happen too during the middle of the battle when quick switching with a Calcharo team. After that, as you said, watch for the Grapple. Grapple, use your aerial heavy attack.

Once on the ground, get ready to dodge twice from his tail whip”. After some helpful comments from the kind people on Reddit, the OP updated their post, saying, “EDIT: I did the recommendation of some people that I should just stand still and let him come to me instead. And it worked like a charm.

But, it heavily dumbed down and made his fight so boring”. Ironically, what started as a complaint about the fight being too annoying, people are now complaining it is “so boring” due to how the mechanics actually work. If this is something that gets addressed for future fights, remains to be seen.

This isn’t unique to Wuthering Waves either, with some other comments on the post saying it reminds them of Wenut in Genshin and other flying bosses that spend all their time in the air.
