WWE legend “Psycho” Sid Eudy died Monday. He was 63. And as sad as fans were to hear that news, the wrestling world was heartbroken by another recent post from the popular former grappler.

Despite all of his success in the squared circle, Eudy has yet to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Less than a month ago, he shared his thoughts on that on social media. “Hopefully, 2025 will be the year that I get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame,” Eudy wrote on X on July 29.



“Time is ticking, so it is now or never for me. With Vince McMahon gone, the company is more open to suggestions. Triple H needs to hear the voices of my fans.

” The message has now been liked nearly 2,000 times. With the benefit of hindsight, and understanding what Eudy meant by “time is ticking,” the post is really hitting home for his fans who are now leaning on the WWE to make it happen. Hopefully, 2025 will be the year that I get inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame.

“This was Sid’s dying wish,” one fan wrote. “Let’s make this happen in 2025 (WWE).” “Get this man into the Hall of Fame @WWE,” another person wrote.

“Rest in Peace Ruler of the World!” “A sad day, but I hope he gets one of his final wishes for his career and life to be inducted into the Hall of Fame next year,” another wrote. “Rest in peace.” “This breaks my heart!” another person wrote.

“#RIPSid hopefully @wwe @TripleH can make this happen now.” The WWE has not commented yet about inducting Eudy into the Hall of Fame, but the organization did acknowledge him with a segment on Monday Night RAW and also on social media. Eudy’s son, Gunnar Eudy, announced his death Monday on Facebook.

” Former WCW and WWE personality Eric Bischoff also posted about his death. “So very sad to hear of the passing for Sid Eudy,” Bischoff wrote. “I have nothing but the fondest memories of working with Sid.

My thoughts are with his family, friends, and fans.” “So sorry to hear of the passing of Sid Justice,” Ric Flair wrote on X. “For all of you out there that have known that we hadn’t gotten along in the business — the last time I saw him, we hugged, he called me champ, and I said thank you! He has a beautiful family, and his family should know that he was much more than a softball player.

A man. Period. Rest in Peace!” Eudy, who was also known as “Sid Justice” and “Sid Vicious” during his career, was a towering, musclebound and intense character at 6-foot-9, 317 pounds.

He first came to fame in the late 1980s in WCW as a member of “The Skyscrapers” along with Danny Spivey. Then, in the WWE in the early 1990s, he famously feuded with the likes of Hulk Hogan and the Undertaker. He was the WWE Champion twice and he was also the WCW Heavyweight Champion twice.
