The lavish stay of an Indian couple at the JW Marriott Masai Mara Hotel has elicited a lot of interest on social media. Anirban Chowdhury and his wife stayed in the Kenya hotel with a total bill amounting to a whopping Rs 3.5 lakh per night, which is approximately $4,200.

The couple shared the details of their extravagant stay on the internet, and the post has received over one million views on X. With its location within the famous Masai Mara National Reserve, the JW Marriott Masai Mara presents a combination of elegance and wilderness. The resort in question is home to 22 luxury tented accommodations, each of which is 1,220 square feet in size and offers a wide array of modern comforts and features including whirlpool baths, stargazing provision and both indoor and outdoor rain showers.



On arrival at the Fig Tree Lounge, guests are welcomed with a Masai cultural dance and served a rosemary hibiscus welcome drink. Chowdhury said that it cost 106,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per night for two people to secure their stay at the hotel. He said it was worth every point spent, saying that the all-inclusive package included accommodation, meals, selected drinks, bush meals, sundowners and daily game drives The JW Marriott Masai Mara is more than just a luxurious facility.

It is a one-of-a-kind-safari destination. As per the details shared by Chowdhury, the visitors can go on game drives that will showcase various wildlife within the region. The resort is roughly 30 to 40 minutes from the Keekorok Airstrip, and it sits in breathtaking scenery.
