Monday, September 9, 2024 The World Travel Market London has revealed that this year’s event will be its largest yet, with an anticipated 7% growth and an expansion into new halls at ExCeL London, showcasing the booming global tourism industry. Scheduled for November 5-7, the World Travel Market is set to feature approximately 4,000 exhibitors, including tourism boards, hotel brands, transport companies, technology providers, and premium experiences. Over 80 new exhibitors are already confirmed to participate in this global event.

The destination market has seen impressive growth, with a 9% rise in participation. Over 135 National Tourism Organisations are confirmed to attend, accompanied by a broad range of cities and regions. Africa stands out as the fastest-growing region at the event, propelled by post-pandemic strategies from nations like Morocco and Egypt.



The event has also seen a surge in non-destination travel brands, with a remarkable 71% increase in exhibitors in the newly introduced ‘Experiences’ zone. Additionally, accommodation brands have grown by 22%, while the technology sector has seen a 16% increase in participation. First-time exhibitors include KOS Island, VIET EXPERIENCES TRAVEL, China Nimbus Travel, Nimax Theatres, Kuoni Tumlare, Jabal Omar Co, Latvia Travel, Grand Prix Grand Tours, Corendon Airlines, Barclaycard Payments, Riyadh Air, Regnum Hotels, Addison Lee, and Stripe Payments, with more to be announced soon.
