The Pune Navratri Women's Festival with religious and social activities and various competitions under the Bhagyalakshmi contest will commence on Oct 4. The festival is organised at the Shri Lakshmimata Temple in Shivdarshan, said Jayashree Bagul, president of the Pune Navratri Women's Festival. President of JITO Apex International honoured Vijay Bhandari, newly elected president of JITO Apex International, was honoured with the ' Suryadatta Global Excellence Award 2024' at an event organised by the Shri Vardhaman Shwetamber Sthanakvasi Jain Shravak Sangh Sadhana Sadan, Pune.
The award was presented by Prof Dr Sanjay B Chordiya, founder-president of Suryadatta Education Foundation. Mahesh Shinde, a senior leader from the Ambedkarite movement and the vice president of the Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar), has been appointed as the party's state spokesperson. NCP's state president, MP Sunil Tatkare, handed over the appointment letter to Shinde.
