Kristin 'Kris' Little, 39, died last Friday after her vehicle went airborne along Thumb Butte Road near Prescott and had tumbled down the steep terrain.
She was thrown from the vehicle about halfway down the mountainside. Her mother Jinger Cutting is now planning a funeral for her beloved daughter. The grieving mom told AZFamily that Kris had been watching the sunset in the area before tragedy struck.
' It kills me to think that I will bury my child first,' Jinger Cutting told the outlet. 'That should not be the case.' Kristin 'Kris' Little, 39, died last Friday after her vehicle went off a cliff along Thumb Butte Road near Prescott Officials said her car had tumbled 1,000 feet down the steep terrain and she was thrown from the vehicle about halfway down the mountainside She added: 'I wish God would have taken me first.
God needed Krissy. She is an absolute angel. 'She was an angel on this earth for 39 years and now she’ll be an angel in heaven.
' Little had been a Real Estate Agent in Prescott, and loved to spend her time outdoors - camping and hiking with her dog, according to her mom. Cutting said that her daughter would watch the sunset from the same lookout spot on Thumb Butte almost everyday. That is what she had been doing last Friday when she bumped into high school friends.
When everyone left, Cutting said her daughter went down the Thumb Butte side which is a difficult road, but her daughter had made the journey before. Only recently Cutting had been on a trip alongside Kristin and her other daughter Jessica to celebrate her birthday. Due to the terrain and the darkness, deputies with Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office had to wait through the night to recover her body, never leaving her side.
Cutting also said that her daughter's dog CJ had been with her and survived the crash. 'Those rescuers stayed with my daughter all night long and that meant the world to me.
' She added: ' She loved life to a maximum. She did everything with her complete heart. 'She was a wonderful girl.
She was everything. She was the light of my life. She was full of positive energy all of the time.
' She described the outpouring of support and sympathy from the local community as being 'overwhelmingly beautiful'. She said: 'Hug your children, please, every day. Hug those babies because you don’t know when you’re going to see them again.
