A woman has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after falling from a bridge. The incident happened at around 6am on Sunday, December 29, at Gabalfa flyover in Cardiff . South Wales Police confirmed officers were called to reports of a woman on the wrong side of the railings.

Shortly afterwards she fell onto the carriageway below. The woman was taken to the nearby University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff with life-changing injuries. They are not thought to be life-threatening.
