A woman is fuming after her neighbour allegedly trespassed into her garden , cut down a tree and removed plants. In a Reddit post, the unnamed resident vented: "So I moved in to some property that had been in the neighbour's family for years." She added: "These neighbours don't live in their house - they use it as a vacation home a spend less than a month of Sundays there.
The last time they visited, the neighbour came and cut down a live pecan tree in my yard. Just out of the blue." To add insult to injury, the neighbour even took a photo of themselves wielding a chainsaw, which they then sent to the woman with the caption "this will improve your view, too" she claimed.
A few weeks later, the woman discovered the neighbour had also "lopped the top off all of my azaleas, and cut down a mature jasmine bush to the ground." Enraged, she turned to Reddit to air her grievances in a forum titled: 'Neighbours from Hell'. "These are specimen in my yard, certainly delineated as such, as there is a fence on the entire property.
WHO DOES SUCH THINGS!!! What would you have done in response?" she wrote. In the wake of her ordeal, numerous commenters rallied, urging the woman to take legal action. "That's illegal.
Find a lawyer and sue. Make them replace your mature bushes and pecan tree," one commenter insisted. Another interjected: "Also, I'd have them charged with trespassing AND destruction of property.
Get cameras. Lots of them. Keep that photo, it's evidence," while yet another chime.
