A woman and an eight-year-old girl who died in Salford last night have been named. Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have named the woman as Martina Karos, aged 40, and the child as Eleni Edwards. The pair were tragically found dead at a property on South Radford Street in Kersal yesterday, September 23.
Officers were called to a concern for welfare shortly after 10.30am and found them. Police believe there are no suspicious circumstances and a cordon remains in place.

"We know there will be some disruption to the local community as a result of our scene, but it is so important that we do this, we need to be able to provide their loved ones with the information they need to process this news."
