Prayagraj: The Pratapgarh police on Thursday claimed to have arrested three persons, including a woman, on charges of killing a man whose body was found in a field in the Sayyadan area of Pratapgarh on Oct 21. The police arrested two youths identified as Arbaz and Altaf of Sayyadan and Khaderuapur respectively, and a woman who had allegedly electrocuted a 20-year-old youth to death. The accused woman was allegedly having an affair with the man.
She called the man to meet her on the night of Oct 20. Police, however, said the accused Arbaz was also in a relationship with the same woman, and she, along with Arbaz and Altaf, planned to eliminate the youth. When the slain youth came to meet the woman, the trio caught him and electrocuted him to death.
