Online scam is nothing new, and especially when it comes to celebrity concerts, it is a fest for cyber criminals to play their games. Therefore, ahead of Diljit Dosanjh ’s Dil-Luminati concert, the Delhi Police alerted everyone to beware of online scams and click only verified links. Yet, a case of fraudulent ticket sales of Diljit Dosanjh’s ‘ Dil-Luminati Tour ’ in India has surfaced.

Reportedly, a woman and her friend fell for an online scam and lost Rs 15,000 and Rs 6,000 respectively. According to the woman, the scammer provided his Aadhaar card to build trust, yet she confessed it was a "foolish” move to believe him. However, she did one right thing - filed a complaint as soon as she understood that she had been scammed.

“This account Dharmendra Singh (Crigyan07) has scammed me and a few more on X by selling fake tickets for Diljit Dosanjh’s show. He took 15k from me, 6k from my friend, and god knows how much money from others,” the woman wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter). The victim tried to reach out to Dharmendra Singh using another number but had no luck.

She has also been blocked by him on all social media platforms; thus, no way of contacting Singh. Nevertheless, she tried to put pressure on Dharmendra by using her social media following. She urged her followers to send multiple messages to Singh.

“Kya pata darr ke ya sharam khaa kr paise vapas kar de [Who knows, maybe out of fear or shame, he’ll refund it],” she wrote. Take a look at the entire post here: Netizens reacted to the post and mentioned that the tweet has been circulating on social media, as many scammers are looking for their prey. People warned fans not to buy tickets via this mode, no matter what the seller says.
