TRIBUTES have flooded in for a woman who died after being crushed by a quad bike on a Scots mountain. Emergency crews were scrambled to the scene but Charlotte, also known as Lotte, was pronounced dead. Her dad, William Lawrence, took to social media to pay tribute to his "beautiful" daughter. He wrote: "My darling daughter and only child, Charlotte, was killed on August 7 2024, in a horrible, awful, terrible, tragic quad bike accident in Scotland.

Charlotte was one of a kind, and I treasure the time we spent together. Hard to believe that such a bright light could have been snuffed out so early." A fourth commented: "I'm so very sorry to hear this! It is unbelievable that Charlotte won’t be there to urge everyone on, to liven up every event and everyone around her, to challenge and incite.

" A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.15pm on Wednesday, 7 August, 2024, we were called to land in Balnaguard, Pitlochry, to an incident involving an all-terrain vehicle.
