As winter arrives, Ram Lalla's routines at the Ram temple are carefully adjusted to ensure his comfort. This year, for the first winter after his Pran Pratishtha, he will be dressed in warm, royal attire, including a luxurious Pashmina shawl from Ladakh. Additionally, changes in his bhog include the replacement of curd with winter-friendly foods to provide warmth and nourishment during the colder months.

Mumbai: Ram Lallan refers to the childhood form of Lord Ram, especially in the context of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya. The term ‘Ram Lalla’ literally translates to ‘Little Ram’ or ‘Baby Ram’ and is used to depict Lord Ram as a young child. As winter sets in, the temperatures in Ramnagari are dropping, with fog blanketing the mornings and the nights becoming colder.



This shift in weather has led to changes in the daily routine of Ram Lalla, who is seated in the Ram temple as a 5-year-old child. Ram Lalla seated in his child form in Ayodhya, is being cared for with special attention, especially during the winter months. This marks the first winter after the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla on January 22, 2024.

To protect Lord Ram from the cold, significant thought has gone into selecting his attire. To shield Ram Lalla from the chill, several modifications have been made to his routine. To further adjust to the cold, coolers have been replaced with fans in the sanctum sanctorum during the day.
