Tuesday, July 16, 2024 The summer season is made even more delightful as Windstar Cruises reintroduces its beloved Christmas in July Sale, running from July 17 to July 31. During this promotion, travelers booking Windstar’s European cruises, available through March 2025, will enjoy a complimentary upgrade to All-Inclusive fares. This premium package offers guests onboard Wi-Fi, all gratuities covered, and unlimited access to wine, beer, and cocktails.

Furthermore, each guest will benefit from a shore excursion credit of up to $500 per person, an additional 10% discount for Yacht Club Members—who typically save 5%—and lower deposit requirements for 2024 voyages. While Windstar’s ongoing promotions include the All-Inclusive upgrade, the Christmas in July Sale uniquely combines this offer with a substantial shore excursion credit. This credit is applicable towards a range of exclusive, small-group European excursions curated by Windstar.

“Summer is a popular time for people to plan family vacations, whether for the holidays or later in the year,” says Windstar’s Chief Commercial Officer Janet Bava . “Our Christmas in July sale is the gift of our best offer possible as you review options and plan your vacation. This is one of our most popular sales because of the value it includes combining an all-inclusive amenities package for each person plus a shore excursion credit.

” Windstar now operates year-round in Europe, inviting travelers to discover quaint villages and enjoy extended stays in famous cities, all delivered in Windstar’s signature style focused on immersive destinations. The cruise line is celebrated for its comprehensive tours of Greece and Iceland and is gaining popularity for its winter Mediterranean voyages from November to March, which showcase quieter, lesser-known ports. The holiday voyages over Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Year’s provide a perfect getaway for couples and families eager to escape the holiday hustle.

The ships boast seasonal decorations, including Christmas trees and wintery scenes. The festive atmosphere is enhanced with traditional carol singing, holiday movie screenings, and cookie and gingerbread house decorating sessions. The dining options during the holidays feature classic dishes like prime rib, turkey, and honey glazed ham, alongside special local seafood and other dishes.

Hanukkah celebrations include communal blessings and candle lighting ceremonies. The celebrations culminate on New Year’s Eve with a special dinner, followed by a lively deck party with music and games, leading to a unique ceremony where the oldest and youngest crew members mark the transition to the new year, capped off with a Champagne toast and a variety of late-night treats..
