A Detroit-style pan pizza eatery has landed in the heart of Perth’s CBD. Willi’s Pizza Bar blends modern North American with traditional Italian favourites to offer food lovers funky menu items. The 80s-inspired venue — which has been decked out with checkered floors and red neon flashing lights — will serve thick, cheesy, crispy square-style pizza in a range of nostalgic flavours like Felino with hot honey.

Other small plates on the menu include whipped anchovy toast, Serrano ham, rockmelon and verjuice, and vanilla gelato with olive oil and sea salt. Willi’s officially opened its doors on the corner of William Street and Wellington Street on October 2 and is the newest member of the Parker Group — the crew behind popular venues The Royal Hotel, Fleur, and Busselton Pavilion. The food isn’t the only great thing about the new pizza bar, with its cocktail and wine menu just as extensive.

Parker Group Head of Beverages Elise Godwin has created a stunning list of classic cocktails with a twist. Customers will be able to sip on a coffee bean Campari with grapefruit soda or a dirty martini with gin infused with bay leaf and tomato evoo. Willi’s Pizza Bar will be open on Tuesday from 4pm to late and Wednesday to Saturday from 12pm to late.
