There’s only one chapter left before Jujutsu Kaisen manga comes to an end but there’s many loose ends left to tie. What was Kenjaku’s true plan, what about the merger, what was the point of the culling game, how did Nobara survive, Sukuna’s past arc, who killed Sukuna before, and the list goes on. Will author Gege Akutami manage to deliver all the unanswered questions in the final chapter? It feels highly unlikely, maybe that’s exactly why speculation is rife that Gege might continue the Jujutsu Kaisen lore in a sequel series.
To fans’ disappointment Shonen Jump has broken silence on the ongoing rumour announcing, “There’s no official confirmation of any continuation or sequel for Jujutsu Kaisen in the preview of Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #44.” But don’t be disheartened quickly because the Japanese magazine also teased, “We’ll keep updating with any possible news or announcements given once the series ends next week.” Regarding Editor Comments: There's no official confirmation of any continuation or sequel for Jujutsu Kaisen in the preview of Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #44.
