Five years after winning the fifth season of , has announced that he is expecting his first child. The personal trainer shared the exciting news on social media on Friday, posing alongside his wife Emily Bradwell in a series of loved-up photos. “Baby Sterritt coming 2025,” they captioned the post.
The snaps were taken on the beach with both Carlin and Emily wearing all-black ensembles as she cradled her growing baby bump. Fans would remember Carlin from ’s season of in 2019 where he received the first impression rose in episode one and went on to be chosen in the finale. The couple continued to date for eight months after the final episode aired before announcing their split in July 2020.
Interestingly, Carlin’s baby announcement came two days before the five-year anniversary of him being announced as a contestant on the reality show. He and his now-wife Emily went public with their relationship in December 2020 and announced their engagement in October 2022.
