In the wake of the release of the new promos, some fans are speculating that one of the original stars of the Wicked play will appear in the new live-action movie version. The star in question is Kristin Chenoweth, who played Glinda in the very first stage adaptation of the story at the George Gershwin Theatre in 2003-2004.

The promotional push also included a new featurette showing the stars in scenes from the film, as well as Erivo and Grande taking about their incedible chemistry on and off screen 'Wicked to me, at its very core, is about friendship,' director Jon M. While the character in question is not clearly seen in the photo or clip, they believe the Broadway legend is the one who has her hair styled in an elaborate up-do. In fact, the scene in question appears around the 1:54 mark in the featurette.
