The Druze kitchen has been in the spotlight lately on Israeli television cooking programs, in chef restaurants and dining bars. Chefs Naifa Mulla and Loy Halabi turned Druze cuisine into a popular favorite among Israelis. Their goal was to challenge old prejudices, offering a contemporary interpretation of traditional cuisine, beyond the classical vine leaves, pita with labneh and za'atar, musakhan or shishbarak.
