According to a study conducted by the University of Virginia, small towns are particularly attracting individuals aged 25 to 44, many of whom are considering relocation. As this trend continues to rise, towns like Maysville, Kentucky, Sisters, Oregon, and Madison, Georgia, have emerged as popular destinations for travelers eager to explore less-traveled locales.

Maysville, Kentucky: A Hub for Bourbon Enthusiasts and History Buffs Maysville, Kentucky, located along the Ohio River, offers a unique blend of history and bourbon culture, making it a noteworthy destination for travelers looking for an off-the-beaten-path experience. Known as the birthplace of bourbon, Maysville is home to several distilleries, including the Old Pogue Distillery, which dates back to 1876. Peter Pogue, a sixth-generation member of the Pogue family, highlights Maysville’s historical significance, stating that visitors can enjoy a bourbon on the same porch where it was crafted a century ago.
