But reports now suggest that the 38-year-old TV personality could be ruled out of several jungle trials, due to a health condition she suffers with. According to The Sun , Wayne Rooney's wife suffers from reactive arthritis - a painful condition that triggers swelling in joints all over the body, especially in the feet, hips, ankles and knees.
Her flare-ups allegedly worsen during periods of stress and were especially challenging during the Wagatha Christie legal case in 2022. An anonymous show source told the publication: "Coleen’s reactive arthritis being triggered by stress means execs want to wrap her in cotton wool and keep her happy and healthy..
. The condition is currently under control so at this stage it’s a ‘could be’ ruled out rather than a 'will be'. "But her physical health will be monitored and, if she suffers a flare-up, her ability to perform each trial will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Coleen is believed to be joining former X Factor judge Tulisa, Love Island's Maura Higgins and several other celebrities in the jungle this year. Although ITV are yet to officially confirm the show's line-up for 2024, insiders at the channel say they 'can't believe they have got Coleen' to sign on, according to the Mirror .
