Some people may wonder why airlines still purchase the Boeing 737 MAX despite its issues? While the new Chinese COMAC C919 is now an option in China and some other countries, the Airbus A320neo is the only alternative for most of the world's airlines. Airlines that are the most reliant on the MAX, like Southwest, Ryanair, and United, have been the most affected by its issues in recent years. The answer to why they are sticking with it is long and nuanced and beyond the scope of this article.

However, here are some factors why airlines still stick with the MAX.
