Whoopi Goldberg is not happy with the way Democrats handled Joe Biden after the presidential debate and before the president’s resignation from the 2024 presidential race. The moderator at The View did not mince her words when it comes to the way Biden was treated about his age. “I’m bored by it, I’m telling you.

I’m bored by it, and I’ll tell you why,” Goldberg said on the ABC talk show. “The messaging that we’ve put out to people over a certain age is horrific. We’ve basically said, you know what, we kind of think if you’re over a certain age, you don’t really have what it takes to do the job that you’re doing.

That’s the messaging that we’ve put out. So, I’m bored by hearing that.” Related Stories News ‘The View’s Ana Navarro Calls On George Clooney To “Come Back With A Big Check” For Democrats After Biden Quit 2024 Presidential Race News Whoopi Goldberg Commiserates With Fellow-Covid Sufferer Joe Biden: “Sometimes I Go For A Word And It’s Not There” Goldberg also noted that she’s “bored by people saying, ‘Well, you know, it’s the next generation.

’ It’s still an unknown. We can believe what we like to believe. I love Kamala, and have defended her from day one, I know she can do the job.

I would’ve preferred by Democrats to do this not publicly and in everybody’s face.” “I’m bored by the, ‘Oh my God, it’s what’s gonna happen,’ because I know that the American people, regardless of who the nominee is going to be, it’s going to be up to the people,” Goldberg added. The talk show host mentioned that although she’s getting up there in age, she wouldn’t want to be discounted because of that.

“It’s saying to people of a certain age, because that’s what the messaging has been: You’re old, you’re doddering. It really pissed me off — not because I’m as close [in age], but because I felt it was disrespectful,” she said. Goldberg also called out the way Democrats were airing their criticism publicly, instead of doing it privately.

“I would’ve preferred my Democrats to not do this publicly and in everybody’s face,” Goldberg said. “What it did was it had us sitting having to talk about this endlessly..

.I know the American people, regardless of who the nominee will be, it’s going to be up to the people.”.
