Will Rothschild, a member of the Rothschild banking dynasty - one of the oldest in the banking business, has died after his home in Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles caught fire on Wednesday. His body was found inside the house by the fire crew from the Los Angeles Fire Department. Though the authorities are yet to identify the dead body, multiple neighbours said it was Will Rothschild.

As per reports, Rothschild was in his late 70s and was living in his two-bedroom apartment in Hollywood Hills with his dog - an Afghan hound. A millionaire, thanks to his family fortune, Rothschild was described as eccentric by his neighbours. They said that he owned multiple properties on the same street and also owned several vintage cars.



The neighbours further stated that the millionaire was rarely seen outside and very few recalled having ever seeing him. Many had also assumed that the property was vacant, as there was no way of knowing if the man was living in the house. The house caught fire at around 3:30 p.

m. on Wednesday, as per the Los Angeles Fire Department. The cause of the fire was not immediately clear.

The entire house, believed to be worth around $1 million, was completely destroyed in the fire. Rothschild, a member of the renowned British-German banking dynasty, led a private life, owning multiple properties and a luxury car collection. The Rothschild family expressed their sorrow in a statement: "It is very sad.
