As Naomi Osaka makes after a two-year hiatus, she has her team and family supporting her. Getting ready for a Grand Slam, she tells , "I try to keep it all the same." She adds, "I don't try to deviate too much, but I think for Grand Slams, everyone takes it a little bit more seriously, me included.

" That "everyone" includes her coaches and her business team. "I've been really fortunate to be surrounded by really good people, like my agent, my manager, everyone around me," she says. "The're like my family.



" Here, get to know Naomi Osaka's team—and who sits in her player's box. Naomi is very close with her mom, Tamaki, who is always in her player's box cheering her daughter on. Tamaki worked "incredibly hard to support me and my passion for play," Naomi .

"She always put others first and encouraged me to embrace my diversity. Every role model I've had has inspired me to dream big. To level up in every way.

" Tamaki played a part in Naomi's choice to play for Japan, though she grew up in the United States. "We made the decision that Naomi would represent Japan at an early age," Tamaki said the Netflix show. "She was born in Osaka and was brought up in a household of Japanese and Haitian culture.

Quite simply, Naomi and her sister, Mari, have always felt Japanese so that was our only rationale. It was never a financially motivated decision nor were we ever swayed either way by any national federation." Her longtime coach, Wim Fissette, is also always in her box.

"She has won her four Grand Slams and she played amazing tennis but coaching her, I feel there's a lot more to do," Fissette earlier this year. "I do feel that if she if he keeps making steps forward that that's the results going to be that she's going to win more Grand Slams. That's at least the goal and that's where we as a team really believe in.

" Like Fissette, Zitzelsberger worked with Naomi before she went on maternity leave. "Where she is today is what makes working with her so inspiring. She wants to get back to world No.

1, she wants to win Grand Slams. She gives me the impression of someone who is totally balanced and happy with herself. She’s very much grounded, mature and embracing the beauty of motherhood," he told "Being part of the journey with this exceptional athlete, remarkable woman, and beautiful mother is truly an honor," Elliott posted on Instagram.

"As her mobility and mental coach, I find constant inspiration in her relentless curiosity and dedication. Heartfelt gratitude to this incredible team for our journey together, the teamwork, and the unwavering spirit." Zukas, an Argentine tennis player, joined Naomi's team as a hitting partner for her.

He's still an active men's player—ranked 1,389 in the world. Carly works with Naomi on her off-court endeavors. "A lot of my job is being Naomi when she can’t be there," Carly told .

"She still has her day job and still plays tennis. I think I know her better than anyone else when it comes to business and tastes." Stu was Naomi's manager, working at Lagardére Sports and IMG.

He then co-founded Evolve, the first female-athlete-led talent agency, with Naomi back in 2022. (He's married to Carly.).
