and was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery. Per US media, the Jessie actress was arrested on August 9 at Universal Studios in California. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said that the theme park’s security personnel called the police on Jackson for supposedly pushing her boyfriend several times.



She was taken to the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station and released after a few hours. TMZ later reported that the case was dropped due to lack of evidence, Jackson’s boyfriend sustaining no injuries, and Jackson having no criminal history. The couple also supposedly denied having a physical altercation – despite video footage – and shared with the police that they are “happily engaged” to be married and have a baby on the way.

Days after her run-in with the law, Jackson is back to posting on social media. She shared a TikTok video of herself, Givenchy bag in hand, and had one message for all her viewers: “Never depend on a man for anything. Period!” She also revealed in a previous TikTok live, where she skirted any questions about her arrest, that she just finished filming a TV show that she can’t talk about yet.
